Govt should assess and analyze the curriculum implemented in our education system - Padayachi

Members of the public that were part of the educational reforms consultations in Labasa yesterday.
The former Education officer for the Northern division, Keswan Padayachi says the government should continuously assess and analyze the curriculum that is being implemented in our education system.
Padayachi highlighted this at the public consultation on education reforms at the Labasa Civic Center
He says that industry stakeholders should also be involved in the discussions.
Education minister, Dr. Mahendra Reddy told him that the last review of the curriculum took place a couple of years ago where there was a curriculum council and industry stakeholders were included in it.
