Great news for people who wish to work overseas as the Government is currently negotiating with the Australian Government for the implementation of a second phase of Australia Seasonal Worker Program.
The Ministry of Employment says the reviewing of the MOU may include five more sectors which include Cotton, Sugar, Aquaculture, Accommodation and Tourism industries and the removal of the restricted cap.
The Ministry says they are treating this seasonal and overseas work as a business case and therefore they have to carefully identify and professionally prepare people well before they are marketed as top quality workers.
They say this is to ensure that workers are demanded more by employers, reducing unemployment and increasing peoples’ incomes for the marginalized rural people.
A total of 30 workers left to work in the Australia Seasonal Worker Program last month.
