Minister for Infrastructure Jone Usamate says that the government will not stop the outsourcing arrangement undertaken by the Fiji Roads Authority.
While responding to a question by SODELPA MP Aseri Radrodro in parliament where he asked given the current poor road conditions, damages to bridges, flooding and landslides happening around Fiji during the recent heavy rain spell and whether government will consider reviewing the current outsourcing arrangement by the Fiji Roads Authority, Usamate says the opposition has a assertion that because of outsourcing, these things happened.
SODELPA MP, Ro Filipe Tuisawau then raised a point of order to say that Usamate should answer the substantive question.
Usamate told Tuisawau that the people of Fiji need to know how ridiculous the question was.
Usamate says they do analysis every year as to how the funds are used.
