Government extends assistance for Early Childhood Education to age of two

Education Minister, Mahendra Reddy has announced that the government is extending the assistance for Early Childhood Education to the age of two.

Reddy said they want to develop resource materials for parents, nannies and grandparents who are looking after children at home.

Reddy said they will develop educational cartoon using local material and examples for free.

He said they will now be able to use cartoon as a medium to educate children and prepare them for Year 1.

Reddy said they have now embarked into a journey into developing resources to be provided to children who are at home.
