Good news for 300 families of Nabalebale Village in Savusavu
Their village has had a facelift with a rehabilitated length of road, extended bus bays and footpath, new speed humps and signage.
Fulton Hogan Highways Renewal Manager North, Scott Wilkinson said the entire road infrastructure in the village was a mess, it needed rehabilitation and which was replaced by 800 metres of road.
He added that the two bus bays on each side of the road in the village have been deepened for the safer pickup and drop off of passengers and it has a further two bus bays on its outskirts that service the village health centre.
The village is located near the Wailevu West Coast-Savusavu junction.
Wilkinson said the work at Nabalebale is part of the extensive rehabilitation work Fulton Hogan Highways is doing in the North in support of the Fiji Roads Authority.
