Guns, drugs and more than $2 million in cash have been found at an Auckland property where two men were fighting with golf clubs.
A 48‑year‑old man has been arrested, and is facing a raft of charges.
Police were called to the home in west Auckland shortly before 11am yesterday after reports of a fight.
They found methamphetamine at the home, and then conducted a full search of the property.
It uncovered four AR15 semi‑automatic rifles, more than 400 rounds of ammunition, 2kg of methamphetamine and $2.5 million in case.
Detective Senior Sergeant Roger Small says the methamphetamine found has an estimated street value of $2 million and would have had a devastating impact on their community if it had made its way to users.
The arrested man has been charged with unlawful possession of firearms, unlawful possession of ammunition, and possession of methamphetamine for supply.
