They are located in an outer island but nothing is stopping them from participating in this year's Tadra Kahani with Connect.
Gau Secondary School is returning to this year's Tadra Kahani with Connect after their last performance in 2010.
Gau Secondary School Principal Sarmogam Naidu said the one night event in Suva has generated a lot of interest among the people on the island.
Naidu said in preparation for the trip to Suva the school has held a number of fundraising activities and they have also arranged a few sponsors.
Naidu also said their story this year is “My Culture, My Pride, My Kacau” which focuses on the potential extinction of the Kacau and the need for protection of this endangered bird.
Meanwhile, Schools that will be taking part are defending champions Cathedral Secondary School, Blue Light Fiji, LDS Church College, Gospel High School, Ballantine Memorial School, Sigatoka Methodist College, Ba Methodist High School and Swami Vivekananda College.
Tadra Kahani with Connect will be held at the Vodafone Arena this Thursday.
