Frank Hilton Organisation expects to raise up to $150,000 from a wheel barrow race to fund the services they provide for disabled children.
Frank Hilton Organisation’s Chief Executive Officer, Sureni Perera, during the launch of the Amazing Wheelbarrow Race said that they had raised $100,000 dollars last year on the same course.
She says 17 teams have paid entry fees of $5000 each and have registered to take part in this race next Thursday.
She adds that the organisation provides free daily services to 150 kids including babies as young as 7 months.
They also have a Physiotherapy Department, Speech Therapy Department and they also provide free hearing aids by screening children in their Audiology Lab.
