Four people are still in custody at the Nabouwalu Police Station that are believed to be involved in the cultivation of marijuana in the province of Bua in Northern Division.
The four were arrested following phase four of Operation Sasamaki yesterday morning.
Chief Operations Officer ACP Biu Matavou earlier said two are suspected to be involved in the cultivation of marijuana while another two were found with dried leaves and seeds believed to be marijuana.
According to Matavou, the raids were conducted at Vuniyasa and Raviravi Settlement where parcels of dried leaves and seeds believed to be marijuana were found in the possession of a 39-year-old and 25-year-old farmer.
In another raid in the Wainunu District a 30-year-old farmer was arrested after 37 plants believed to be marijuana ranging from 1-2m was uprooted from his farm.
Matavou said the fourth suspect a 39-year-old also of Wainunu District was arrested after 24 plants and containers of seeds believed to be marijuana were found in his possession.
Meanwhile, police have so far uprooted over 6,000 plants believed to be marijuana following raids in Cakaudrove, Kadavu and Tailevu.
