A 29-year-old taxi driver and three passengers who were involved in an accident along Omkar Road in Narere yesterday have sustained multiple severe injuries.
CWM Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Jemesa Tudravu says two of them are expected to undergo surgery while the other two are under observation.
Dr Tudravu says the victims age range between 21 to 57 years old.
It is alleged a taxi was stationed at Omkar road junction about to make a right turn when the private car came from behind, tried to overtake the taxi and while veering to the opposite lane, collided with an oncoming taxi.
The driver of the private car is expected to be questioned soon.
Investigations continue.
