Four men who allegedly colluded to steal fishing products worth $7,772.91 in July last year appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court today.
Tuiwai Matakibau, Daniel Mario, Mosese Walusio and Patrick Fenn have been charged with one count of theft each.
Mario has also been charged with one count of causing malicious damage.
Police Prosecution will advise the court in the next sitting whether they will withdraw a charge against Mario.
The theft of the products is alleged to have taken place when the three men had colluded to steal the products before disposing them to the fourth person who owns a restaurant in Nakasi.
Two of the accused were security personnel while one is a former employee of the Solander Fishing Company.
The matter has been adjourned to the 11th of April.
