Former Information and Public Relations officer at the Prime Minister’s Office, Rudra Maharaj who is charged by FICAC for bribery related offences has been found guilty by the three assessors in the Suva High Court.
Maharaj was charged by FICAC on 28th September 2013 where he accepted an advantage of $2,000 cash and two cheques amounting to $10,000 from the Director of Fijiana Builders, Avin Prakash in 2012.
Prakash was the first FICAC witness in the case.
The matter has been adjourned for judgement tomorrow.
