Two former workers of Tappoos Group of Companies who have each been charged with 12 counts of falsifying documents and 12 counts of theft have been further remanded in custody.
The two employees, Abinesh Chand and Moushmi appeared in the Sigatoka Magistrates Court and had their charges read and explained in court and the plea has been deferred until after the bail ruling.
It is alleged that Moushmi stole a total of $79,903.45 and Abinesh Chand stole $41,000 while being employed by the subsidiary companies under the Tappoos Group of Companies.
The alleged incident happened between January to May this year.
The two are also being investigated for likely offences from 2012 to 2016.
The case has been adjourned for bail ruling to 2.30pm today.
