The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service Former Acting National Manager of Customs appeared in the Suva High Court today charged with two counts of bribery.
Josefa Marawa appeared before Justice Vinsent Perera and through his lawyer made a bail variation application.
They are requesting if Marawa could only report to the Valelevu Police Station once a month because he has a farm in Kadavu to supplement his income.
Marawa is charged by FICAC after he allegedly accepted a Toyota Harrier vehicle from Abdul Shekeb.
He is also alleged to have accepted a loan of $4,000 from Abdul Shekeb.
Marawa’s bail has been extended.
