Former civil servant, Ekbal Hussein charged with forgery will take his plea at the Suva Magistrates Court next month.
Hussein is charged with one count of Uttering Forged Documents with an alternative count of Giving False Information to a public servant.
It is alleged that Hussein on November 11, 2006 at Suva knowingly and fraudulently uttered a forged document, namely a certificate of Diploma in Islamiyat from the Madresa Nur-Ul ‑ Islam Institute, with the Fiji Public Service Application Form to the Ministry of Education.
The second phase of the disclosures has been served by the Prosecution.
Magistrate Waleen George has adjourned the matter to the 19th of September for the accused to take his plea.
