The former Director of the Department of Fiji Meteorological Service Ravind Kumar will be laid to rest today.
He will be cremated at the Wailoaloa Cemetery in Nadi.
Kumar is survived by his wife and two children.
He passed away at his home in Waqadra, Nadi on Sunday.
The late Director had a long and illustrious career of 31 years with the Fiji Meteorological Services.
He began his career as a Technical assistant, commonly known as a weather observer and rose to the highest rank within the organisation.
