The flow of traffic in Suva City will be affected as major roadworks along the Queen Elizabeth Drive is expected to begin from next Monday.
This has been confirmed by the Fiji Roads Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Moore.
Queen Elizabeth Drive from Muanikau Road to Bidesi Park will be closed for next two weeks.
Moore says the roads will be closed for two weeks and will open on the 7th of next month.
During the closure, motorists have been advised to use alternative routes.
These routes include Laucala Bay Road, Ratu Sukuna Road and Vuya Road.
Motorists have been advised to consider the road closure while planning to travel.
