Swift recovery efforts have been taking place in Nadi following Cyclone Keni.
Nadi Chamber of Commerce President, Dr Ram Raju says that flood damage in the town was minimal and business houses had prepared themselves well, closing early by midday Monday, prepared sandbags and other means of minimising flood damages and Nadi Town was somewhat well secured.
He says most the infrastructure was hardly affected except for a few in Nadi Back Road near the Nadi Sangam Temple
Raju also highlighted that several major outlets were flooded twice but were quickly cleaned up.
He says the Nadi Chamber of Commerce had mobilized resources to help others and support continues to pour in through cash or kind donations to assist those that have been affected by Tropical Cyclone Keni in Nadi.
