Five people in hospital after road accident

Five people are admitted in hospital after they sustained serious injuries in a road accident last night.

According to Police, the incident happened at around 7pm in Yaqara when a government vehicle going towards Tavua hit an animal, went on to the opposite lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

The driver and a passenger of the government vehicle are admitted at the Tavua Hospital while the driver of the other vehicle is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital in critical condition.
