Police are looking for five people in relation to cases of Obtaining Financial Advantage by Deception.
Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri says they are still seeking information on the whereabouts of Mukesh Naidu, who once resided at Sakoca in Tamavua.
Naidu is wanted for several cases of Obtaining Financial Advantaged by Deception amounting to more than $3 million from members of the public and allegedly promised to provide them with land lots but failed to do so.
Police say another suspect Manoj Jeet who once listed his address as Dhram Jeet Road, Nadawa and 12 Pegasus Avenue, New South Wales, Australia is wanted for questioning for cases of Forgery and Obtaining Property by Deception in Nakasi last year.
He allegedly forged the transfer document of a caterpillar with a financial Institution and obtained a loan of $65,000.
Sokomuri adds the third suspect Ronal Ranjeev Sumaru from Kali place Tamavua is wanted for questioning for several cases of Obtaining Financial Advantage by Deception, after he allegedly acted to be a Land Transport Authority officer, falsely promising some people that he would provide taxi permits and obtaining more than $10,000.
According to police the fourth suspect Wainise Biu Tagilala who does not have a fixed address is wanted for questioning in a case of Conversion in Suva.
Police are also looking for Filomena Delana for questioning.
His other particulars are not known for a case of Obtaining Financial Advantage by Deception in Raiwaqa.
Sokomuri says they receive two to three reports of Obtaining Financial Advantage by Deception every day.
People are advised to be vigilant when dealing with money.
