The first stage of development on the $105 million Nadi International Airport Modernization Project is expected to be complete by the end of April next year.
Airports Fiji Limited CEO Faiz Khan confirmed this yesterday during the hand over of the $10 million dividend cheque to Government.
Minister for Public Enterprise Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the Nadi Airport project will take the airport to another level.
Sayed-Khaiyum also said there are a number of other areas which can be improved to ensure that the Nadi Airport is if true international standard.
Hawkins Infrastructure the second largest construction firm in New Zealand is partnering with Fiji’s largest builder - Pacific Building Solutions (PBS) to complete the development.
