Firefighters have managed to contain the fire at one of the buildings at Rups Grantham Road.

Our reporter at the scene confirms that National Fire Authority officers managed to extinguish the flames in the area where the workers were polishing some furniture.

Thick black smoke was seen coming out from the back building of Rups at about 2pm.

Workers were then asked to go outside for safety reasons and firefighters managed to contain the blaze.

Some furniture was damaged in the fire.
