A warehouse belonging to United Pacific Fiji Limited at Kalokalo Crescent in Makoi was destroyed in a fire last night.
The fire started at around 7.30pm and it took firefighters at least 2 hours to try and control it.
Managing Director of United Pacific Fiji Limited, Kamal Khalil says machines as well as hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of products were all destroyed.
He says the estimated cost of damage is yet to be determined.
National Fire Authority investigators have started their official investigation with the Police.
United Pacific (Fiji) Ltd was established in 1985 and manufactures multiwall paper sack and white and brown paper bags.
