The first set of final results of the 2014 general elections from all polling stations will be released later today.
Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem is confident that all the final results will be announced by the end of this weekend.

According to the provisional results the Fiji First has 239,261 votes. This is 60.13 percent of the total votes counted.
The Social Democratic Liberal Party is in second place according to the total party votes so far.
SODELPA has 106, 406 votes.
This is 26.74 percent of the total votes counted.
The third party which is just over 5 percent at the moment is the National Federation Party.
NFP has 22,446 votes.
Based on voter turnouts on international standards, FijiFirst has already achieved an absolute majority if the voter turnout for this election is 75 percent.
An absolute majority of 221,661 votes would be needed by a party if there is 75 percent voter turnout.
The FijiFirst has already surpassed this figure and currently has 239,261 votes.
This means that the FijiFirst will form the next government on its own while the opposition parties at this stage are projected to be SODELPA and NFP based on the provisional results and if the current trend in results and percentages continue.
