Tonight is the final night of the student led special musical production called “Beauty through the Eyes of a Beast”.
135 students of International School Suva are part of this production which tells the story of Beauty and the Beast with eye-catching backdrops, costumes, an amazing choir, band and other props.
Student Director, Ernest Gibson says this year’s production was different from their previous productions as they used the students’ choir to back up their act as they have a larger number of students taking part in the show.
Gibson says their whole production is all done by students.
He says the costume and make up team bring out what most remember best about Belle, the spirited, headstrong village girl who enters the Beast’s castle in her brown hair and yellow gown when the beast asks her for a dance.
Meanwhile Senior Year Student, Gareth Wekina who plays the Beast says they are looking forward to the final night tonight after an amazing response from the audience last night.
The production will start at 6.30 tonight at International School Suva at Laucala Beach.
