The investigation file into the death of a 3-year-old girl at the Lautoka bus stand has been forwarded to the Western Division Police Prosecution Office.
This file will then be submitted to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for sanctioning.
Police say the mother of the three-year-old was questioned last week.
The driver who was allegedly involved in this accident was also questioned and released.
A 3‑year‑old girl was crossing from behind a parked bus at the Lautoka Bus stand with her mother when she was allegedly hit by a 30 seater bus earlier this month.
The 3‑year‑old died at the scene.
