The Christchurch Fiji Association says it is working to support members of the Fijian diaspora that have been impacted by the terrorist attack at two mosques in Christchurch yesterday.
Speaking from Christchurch, Secretary Vinesh Prakash says they are offering support to their Muslim brothers and sisters.
He says they are also praying for the recovery of members of the Fijian community in Christchurch affected by the attack.
Prakash who is originally from Lautoka moved to New Zealand about 10 years ago and says they are still in shock over what has happened.
He says they are planning to hold vigil next Tuesday.
