Director Immigration, Nemani Vuniwaqa has confirmed that Immigration officers will be visiting USA, United Kingdom and Canada later this year to assist Fijians abroad with their passport issues in preparation for the General Election Registration.
Meanwhile, four Immigration officers will be leaving for Australia tomorrow to assist Fijians there with their passport issues.
Vuniwaqa added that the team will also assist former Fiji Citizens who would like to apply for dual citizenship.
Vuniwaqa said Fijians residing in overseas had requested for this service.
He said in order to register for the general elections, Fijians living in overseas will need to have a valid passport.
