Fijian student acknowledged by a Bollywood rapper

A Fijian student has been acknowledged by a Bollywood rapper Raftaar and his followers after he returned his ring which is a family heirloom.

Kaushal Prasad who is originally from Labasa was at a concert in Ahmedabad with his friends when the rapper’s ring landed near him while Raftaar was still on stage.

The rapper had announced that whoever finds it to keep it as he thought no one would return it and got a shock when Prasad contacted him over the email.

The Fijian student had requested that the only thing he wants in return is to meet the rapper in person.

The rapper was on his way to Australia and promised Prasad to meet him and his friends when he returns to India.

Raftaar’s Manager came to pick the ring the next day and offered Prasad money which he declined.
