Fijian Tourism Expo 2019 aims to deliver an experience for international buyers

Tourism Fiji has confirmed that the Fijian Tourism Expo 2019 will be held from the 22nd to the 24th of May.

It says that this year’s Tourism Expo aims to deliver an experience for international buyers of tourism products that is uniquely‑Fijian and to showcase all that Fiji's tourism industry has to offer.

Tourism Fiji Chief Executive Matthew Stoeckel says the Tourism Expo is a great platform to promote the entire destination to the global market and Tourism Fiji is happy to be facilitating meetings between buyers and sellers during this Expo.

He also acknowledged Fiji Airways for their sponsorship of the Fijian Tourism Expo 2019 adding that through the support of the national carrier they will be bringing in a record number of hosted buyers to the Expo from across 16 countries.

Fiji Airways CEO and Managing Director,  Andre Viljoen says that as it is becoming ever so clear that in this day and age, the lure of travel is for the experiences, and people will invest in trips and destinations that promise genuine, unique and life changing experiences.

Viljoen adds that this is what makes expos like the Fijian Tourism Expo so crucial to an industry like Fiji’s Tourism Industry.
