Three men including a 22-year-old Fijian national have been arrested in Sydney after Australian police stopped an alleged plot to import more than $FJ157 million worth of crystal methamphetamine.
The drugs were intercepted in China after Australian police received a tip-off that they were concealed in the floor of a shipping container bound for Sydney.
They removed the drugs before sending the container, carrying a consignment of two tonnes of steel to Sydney.
Once it arrived in Sydney, a 22-year-old Fijian national was arrested after he allegedly received the consignment.
A 38-year-old Australian man and a 42-year-old Hong Kong resident were also arrested.
The Fijian National will appear in Court on April 26th.
