Fijian Holdings Limited will soon own Government Printery as they are the successful bidder after the tender process.
Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum highlighted this in parliament saying that this is a huge opportunity in the printing industry.
He also raised the issue that high level tourism printing cannot be done in Fiji at the moment.
Sayed-Khaiyum says they hope to have a service agreement with FHL because they will have various printing jobs of government.
He says some of the conditions of their agreement is that Fijian Holdings Limited will not just get the assets, but they will have to invest in various printery machines to be able to tap into the markets from Australia and New Zealand.
