The Fijian Elections Office has begun its Voter Services staff training today.
While speaking at the opening, Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem has told his staff that they should provide the same service for the people for any of the processes.
Saneem says a voter who goes to one center for services must have the same service delivered as a voter who goes to another center for a service.
He says they need to be consistent as best they can, adding that voters all over the country must be treated equally and with dignity.
Saneem says the people who come to Fijian Elections office will have a set expectation and they should be served with the best of the service providers’ abilities.
The training has 22 participants from across the country and this is the first training for the first batch of trainees.
