FijiFirst leader Voreqe Bainimarama said they want to win 50 seats in the September general elections.
While launching the election campaign for FijiFirst last night at Nakaikogo Primary School in Nausori, Bainimarama said they do not want to settle for 26 or 28 seats.
Speaking to over 400 people, Bainimarama said they do not want people in Parliament who are talking about bringing back the Great Council of Chiefs which is irrelevant.
He told the people that the policies of FijiFirst will bring stability in the country.
Bainimarama also reassured land owners that their land is safe under the 2013 constitution after questions were raised last night about the land bank.
Bainimarama said the itaukei people will not lose their land if they lease it under the land bank.
He also told the people to tell other politicians to stop lying to them when they come around and bring up the land issue.
Meanwhile, residents of Koronivia, Nakaikogo and Lokia also raised their concerns about the poor road condition.
The people told Bainimarama that promises made by all the Governments have never been fulfilled.
Bainimarama told the people that the Fiji Roads Authority has a plan to upgrade the road and they will look into the concerns.
FijiFirst General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, Party President Dr Jiko Luveni, Labour Minister Jone Usamate and Transport Minister Timoci Natuva also spoke at the launch of the campaign.
