Fiji will have general elections on Wednesday November 14th, 2018.
According to the constitution, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama advised President Jioji Konrote to dissolve parliament in the last hour.
Bainimarama visited Government House at 10am today and he met with President Konrote for about 30 minutes.
The Prime Minister returned from New York earlier today.
Fijivillage has also received confirmation that according to the constitution, President Konrote will issue the Writ of Elections tomorrow.
