It was all too easy for the Vodafone Fiji 7s team as they thrashed France 49-5 in their second pool match of the Sydney 7s.
Fiji ran in seven tries showing their skills and brilliance.
Captain Osea Kolinisau and Jerry Tuwai scored two tries each while the other five pointers came from Savenaca Rawaca, Viliame Mata and the World Sevens Series highest points scorer Vatemo Ravouvou.
Fiji controlled the game well and improved on their line speed which coach Ben Ryan was concerned with in their first pool game.
Meanwhile some potential injuries have hit South Africa and England after their first games.
South African captain Philip Synman was forced off the field with a hand injury while England’s rover Dan Bibby suffered from a shoulder injury after scoring a try against Japan.
Fiji will now meet Argentina at 7.21pm today.
The Cup quarter finals start at 12.35pm tomorrow, the semis start at 4.57pm and the final kicks off at 8.04pm tomorrow.
