A student of Fiji was allegedly beaten up on Friday by four unidentified students on India’s Banaras Hindu University premises.
According to the officers who registered the case on Sunday, Munish Krushil who is a first year BA student at the Faculty of Arts in the Banaras Hindu University, was on his way back to the International Hostel when a group of four students pushed him to the ground.
Police have also revealed that Krushil had somehow managed to escape from these boys however the same boys stopped him and thrashed him near the intersection of the Faculty of Arts building.
The police have also said ragging maybe the reason behind this and a team from the Police has been deployed to identify the four students.
A case has been registered against the four unidentified boys.
Krushil has also informed the Fiji Embassy.
