The President of the National Federation Party Pio Tikoduadua says Fiji needs a change because the current government has been in power for 12 years.
While speaking at a NFP campaign meeting at Navitoko, Sawani along Princes Road last night, Tikoduadua has stressed that NFP does not mix their words about the way they feel and the way they see Fiji.
He says the government needs to change.
Tikoduadua also said that the leadership that is being portrayed at the moment by the FijiFirst Party especially by the Prime Minister and FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama’s utterances in the last few weeks is very concerning.
Tikoduadua says that he wants to say to the Prime Minister that this is enough of his threats and to let the people enjoy their freedom that the Prime Minister purports to be giving to people in Fiji today.
Meanwhile FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama had earlier stated that he is not scaring people when he speaks about the events of 2000 but he is just stating facts on what had happened.
Bainimarama added that he has made these comments a couple of times and not because he is speaking as a politician but he is speaking as a former Army Commander who was the RFMF Commander for 15 years.
The Prime Minister says although the National Federation Party is saying that Bainimarama is scaring people, the FijiFirst Leader says he will always speak the truth about what had happened
