Prince William will marry long-time girlfriend Kate Middleton in a ceremony full of pomp and pageantry tonight and it is expected to be watched by more than two billion people around the world.
There are 1,900 people invited to the service at Westminster Abbey with around 650 people invited to a lunchtime reception hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace after the service and about 300 have been invited to a dinner hosted by Prince Charles.
There are hundreds of media personnel on the ground outside the Abbey getting ready for the live coverage of the royal wedding.
Amongst those in London is Fiji man, Ashwin Nand who is the former Chief Engineer of Communications Fiji Limited and now works at 2GB Radio in Sydney.
Ashwin is the technician for 2GB for their royal wedding coverage. He spoke to Fijivillage from London last night and told us that hundreds of people are already camping outside the Abbey in freezing conditions waiting for the wedding ceremony.
Ashwin also said the final rehearsal of the royal wedding was held secretly in the early hours of the morning when Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived at the Abbey.
Ashwin who was born and raised in Labasa said he is fortunate to be given this once in a lifetime opportunity.
