Fiji and six other Pacific islands will be able to take advantage of the funding facility for Argi‑Business and Nutrition provided by the Pacific Islands Private Sector Organisation that will be launched at the end of this month.
Speaking to Fijivillage at the Pacific Minister’s for Women Meeting, Pacific Islands Private Sector Organisation Acting CEO Alisi Tuqa says this is part of their Promoting Nutritious Food Systems in the Pacific Islands Projects.
Tuqa says they are working with agricultural businesses and fisheries in Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Kiribati and the Marshall Islands to help in facilitating this project funding.
She says if you are a business, depending on the criteria, you can make a submission to access that funding.
Tuqa says that a business can access up to $20,000 depending on the breakdown of the finance.
Meanwhile, the 6th Meeting of the Pacific Ministers for Women and the 13th Triennial Conference of Pacific Women will conclude this Thursday.
