Fiji Television Limited today signed a partnership with The Wildlife Conservation Society to broadcast 13 environmental documentaries.
Wildlife Conservation Society Program Director Sangeeta Mangubhai said in the next 12 months they will be showing documentaries on different environmental issues from all across the Pacific.
Mangubhai says the 13 documentaries are shoot from six different Pacific Countries including Solomon, PNG and Palau.
She said these documentaries will also feature stories about iconic and important species that are endangered like sharks, reef fish, dolphin, wales and turtles and that they are hoping to raise public awareness.
Meanwhile, the documentaries will open up some times next month.
