Fiji Ports Terminal to pay $383,326 as bonuses to its employees

The Fiji Ports Terminal will pay out $383,326 as bonuses to its employees due to their outstanding performance.

This has been highlighted by the Attorney General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum while making the announcement.

Sayed-Khaiyum says the government aims to make Fiji the powerhouse of the Pacific.

He also highlighted that people were skeptical of the public/private partnership that existed with Fiji Ports, Aitken Spence and the government, however the government had a long term vision.

Fiji Ports Terminal CEO Hasthika Dela says this is a 30 percent increase from last year’s pay out.

Fiji Ports Terminal recorded a total profit of $10 million last year.
