Fiji Performing Rights Association receives $5000 to help nurture local talent

Fiji Performing Rights Association today received a cheque of $5,000 from FINTEL as a sponsorship partner for the Best Hip Hop category at the FPRA Music Awards.

Presenting the cheque, FINTEL Chief Executive Officer George Samisoni says they believe in nurturing local talent and providing employment to local performers.

Meanwhile, FPRA Director Inoke Kalounisiga says they are grateful for FINTEL for their continuous support as this is the second year they have been sponsoring this category.

Kalounisiga says they are looking forward to continue this relationship as the local music industry grows as they try to make it more viable locally and internationally.

The FPRA Music Awards will be held at the Grand Pacific Hotel on 11th May.
