Fiji National Women’s Expo to be better and bigger this year

Almost 2,000 women who participated in the first Fiji National Women’s Expo last year can expect the Expo to be better and bigger this year.

Speaking at the launch of the 2015 Fiji National Women’s Expo and Divisional Craft Shows today Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Rosy Sofia Akbar said the Expo will be held from the 14th to the 16th of October at the Vodafone Arena.

Akbar said this year they have also organised Divisional Craft Shows to be held in May and June in different divisions before the Expo in October.

She said women who participated last year collectively made an excess of $140,000 in sales while women from the Eastern division, raked in the highest with a collective sales of almost $50,000.
