The Fiji Museum has plans to open up tunnels that were used as shelters during the World War, in February next year.
Fiji Museum Director Adi Meretui Ratunabuabua says they will be opening up the tunnels around the museum and under the President's Office.
Ratunabuabua says they want to open it so that people can get an idea on what it was like during World War II and how people sheltered there.
She says Fiji was prepared and had tunnels during World War II unlike other countries who suffered a great deal because they were not prepared.
