The President of the Fiji Australia Business Council, Vili Leqa said they are hopeful labour mobility between Australia and Fiji will improve and the two governments will sign on an agreement.
Leqa said this issue will be discussed in the Joint Fiji Australia Business Council Forum which is underway at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.
He said the Fijian and Australian governments have agreed to promote labour mobility as relations are improving between the two countries.
He said this will allow labourers from Fiji to go and work in farms and other areas in Australia.
Leqa said this will create jobs for Fijians especially from the rural areas.
