The Vodafone Fiji 7s team have sent their well wishes to all the children who will be celebrating Palm Sunday tomorrow and hoping they will be inspired by their performance in the Hong Kong 7's.
Coach Ben Ryan said that the Hong Kong 7s has been a well-known event not only for children in Fiji but for other rugby youngsters around the world.
Ryan hopes that this tournament will create more dreams and unleash talents from children in Fiji.
Fiji thrashed Samoa 38-12 in their first pool game early this morning and will meet Belgium at 5.46pm today and then take on Canada at 9.48 tonight in their last pool match.
The national side scored six tries with a strong line of defence and attack.
Fiji’s tries came from rover Savenaca Rawaca, lanky forward Semi Kunatani, half back Jerry Tuwai, speedster Samisoni Viriviri while debutant Josaia Wini scored twice.
Barring any upsets, Fiji will either meet USA, Kenya, England or Wales in the quarterfinals.
The Hong Kong 7s day two has kicked off.
The HK 7s Cup quarter finals will start at 2.58pm tomorrow, the semis will start at 7.46pm while the Cup final will kick off at 11pm tomorrow.
