Felix Anthony questioned by Police for the conduct of the march in Nadi the events that occurred afterwards

Fiji Trades Union Congress National Secretary Felix Anthony has been questioned by Police for the conduct of the march in Nadi on the 13th of this month and the events that occurred afterwards.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirms that Anthony has been released after the questioning by their officers.

Naisoro says they will not make further comments as the progress of the case will be relayed to Anthony.

Fijivillage has received information that Anthony is under investigation for telling people that they will shut the country down.

Anthony made the comments in the union rally after the march in Nadi.

He could not be reached for comments.
