The Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations, Jone Usamate says that feedback from the people in Savusavu, Labasa and Levuka at the public consultation on Fiji's first draft National Employment Policy for employers, workers, students, teachers and key stakeholders has been overwhelming.

Speaking to Fijivillage from Levuka, Usamate adds that there have a lot of contributions and suggestions from the people with regards to the difficulty they meet everyday.

He says that the Ministry of Employment has fully explained the priorities and policies of the draft National Employment Policy during the consultations.

Usamate adds that all the comments and suggestions made by the people from the consultations held in various locations will go into the finalizing of the National Employment Policy.

The Public Consultation on Fiji's first draft National Employment Policy will conclude in Levuka for this year and will continue on the third week of January in Viti Levu.
