A father who has completed his 10 year prison sentence said reuniting with his children is the only Christmas gift he has for his family.
The man who did not want to be named said he was not able to buy a special present for his children as he was trying to settle things with his family when he joined them six months ago.
The man in his late 30s who accompanied his two boys to the Prison Fellowship Family Ministry Christmas Lunch yesterday thanks his siblings for looking after his two boys since their mother left them 11 years ago.
He said his eldest son will be in Form 5 next year while the youngest will be in Form 2.
About 100 children where one of their parents is serving time in prison were treated to an early Christmas lunch and were handed their Christmas gifts by the Prison Fellowship Family Ministry.
